Playing with a Singing Reindeer Gift

A neighbor gave me this toy!  I LOVE IT!  It isn't dog safe, but Momma let me have it because I loved it so much.  She just keeps a close eye on me, while I play with it (and hides it on me when she can't watch me).

Momma set up a Facebook account for me!  She a little behind with helping me with posts again, though.  On my FB page, you can see photos of my first pug Halloween party and some other new photos.  She has some more photos and videos to post, but she's got a lot of deadlines coming up with work, so they need to wait for now.

My First Pug Play Date!

I was not feeling myself today.  I was feeling a little shy.  There were so many people and pugs I didn't know what to do.  I just stood around and took it all in.  The dog park we were at was pretty cool.  It was our first time there, too.  There was a hose and a wading pool.  Momma had me watch the other pugs play in the pool, hoping that I'd decide to try it.  I didn't.  She put me in anyway, and put water on my back.  I wasn't happy.  She insisted I needed it because it was hot.


Momma took some pictures of our new friends.  There's one pug who looks a lot like me.  Her name is Vallie (Valentina); she's 2.

Big Green Snake that Sprays Water

You know those big green snake-like things that spray water?  (Momma called it a hose.)  Well, last night Momma went out in the yard with me, when I needed to go potty.  I was walking around looking for the perfect spot, when I stepped on the head of this hose thing!  I jumped backwards about 2 feet and Momma screeched and started laughing.  The water hit Momma in the face, even though she was standing about 8 feet away!  I managed to stay dry!

It's Been a Long Time . . .

Momma says she'll help me post some photos within the next week. We've taken them, but she's been too busy to help me. I think we have some cute photos of me with my brother, Maui, and Daddy too!

It's My Birthday!

I'm a year old today! (According to the vet's guess)

Momma's been really busy with work, so she's a bit behind with posting videos and photos. She has taken a couple in the past month, and will post them soon.

Also, I've been having some health issues, so I'm needing to take it easy right now, and I don't look as pretty (so no birthday photo today). It's nothing serious. I just need to relax and not be stressed.

I was laying in the sun in the lounge chair. My brother, Maui, came to join me. I cleaned his ear. Momma thought it was cute and got the camera...but the sun went in. We're still cute, though!

I Caught a Grasshopper!

Momma took this video with her phone a couple of days ago, while we were on our walk. She says I can't stop and play with things in the road any more, though. She says it's a bad habit to get into because of the big metal things that zoom past us. Cassie's Momma yells, "Car!" every time one approaches. I know when I hear that, Momma wants me to go to the side of the road and sit until the thing passes us. They don't come by too often where we live now. I saw many more when we lived at our last house and when we go to the beach and stuff.

I Made Momma Proud

We practiced a lot of new things in training class tonight and I learned them all after only one try! And what REALLY impressed Momma was I got one of them right off; and it was the obe thing she thought I wouldn't be able to do!

We had to walk up to another dog and their parent. Momma told me to St and Stay. Then she did Shake with the other parent and talked briefly. I just sat and watched until we walked away. She was very impressed!

Beach Day!

Momma and Daddy took me to the beach today! It's my favorite place! Today, I met over 12 dogs and at least that many new people! Daddy took a photo to show how happy I was.

Then all the humans got really excited about something they called a rainbow. I don't know what that is, but Daddy took a photo of me and Momma when they saw it. Momma says it's in the background to our left.

New Friends!

Since we've moved, I've made some new friends. I don't get to see a whole lot at obce every day, like I used to at the dog park in Davis but I have a lot of doggie neighbors!

First, I made friends with Floyd across the road. I met Princess who lives down the road.

Then I started Basic Education and met some more dogs there. I see them almost every week. I'm not really learning anything new in class, but I am learning to ignore distractions and listen to Momma.

Then I made friends with Gibson who lives down the road. Next to Gibson, is Ears. Is is a Chihuahua mix and about my size. I like to play with him.

Lately, Momma and I have been walking with Cassie and her momma. They live up on our hill. Cassie is kinda shy but she's warming up to me.

And today, I met more doggies that live down the road: Jax and his sister, who is another Princess. They are about my size. I want to play with them but Jax isn't too sure what he thinks of me. Hopefully in time, he'll warm up to me and all three of us can play together!

There are also lots of people here that I love to go out and say hello to! And my brother even comes with us sometimes!

I'm Back!

It's been awhile since Momma had the time to help me post. We've been very busy! We moved to the Santa Cruz mountains. I get to go to the beach a lot now! I love it! We've also been going to training classes at Petsmart. That's a lot of fun!
